okay, so, i just finished watching eraserhead and i really don’t know what to think. while i was watching, i didn’t think of it as a film but as a piece of art - which is, undoubtedly, what it is. i interpreted it as a representation of the hopelessness, trepidation, doubt and uncertainty that we constantly feel in life. and that’s what i really loved it about it. it’s also beautifully shot. so, overall, i really liked it :)
