…the fuck?
We’re talking about a critically acclaimed, Joss Whedon-penned, fanboy-friendly movie staring Chris Hemsworth, and Roadshow deemed it unworthy of an Australian release?
Does Roadshow hate profit? And Australians?
Community was on top form this week, wow. Sharp jokes, spot-on homage/parody, memorable Troy & Abed moments, substantial Jim Rash screen time, and a few twists for good measure! What more could you ask for?
Best episode of the season? (Remedial Chaos Theory was definitely more ingenious, but I think this was probably the most satisfyingly balanced ep so far. Less character development, but at this point sometimes you just need to have fun with the characters you’ve come to know and love.)
Thoughts?
Sometimes I remember that Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are married and I get confused because I don’t know who I’m more jealous of.
My mum just brought home a small billboard with John Malkovich’s face on it for me. It’s an ad for a play he was in while the Sydney Festival was on. It’s currently residing in my room, quietly creeping the hell out of me.

Yeah and The Lion King’s a copy of Hamlet. I prefer to appreciate films on the basis of their own merits. Also, Battle Royale features a shocking lack of Jennifer Lawrence content.
NB: Have not read the books. Have only seen and reacted very strongly to the movie. No shame.
